How this AI detector checks your text
AI models write in a recognisable way: predictable sentence rhythm, the same "safe" words, smooth transitions and very few specific details. This AI checker measures those signals and combines them into one score, then shows the evidence sentence by sentence so you can judge for yourself.
AI-typical phrases
140+ words and phrases that ChatGPT-style models overuse, such as "delve into", "a testament to", "in today's fast-paced world" and "it's important to note".
Sentence rhythm
People mix short and long sentences. AI text keeps a steady length. We measure this "burstiness" and how many sentences open with stock transitions like "Moreover" or "Additionally".
Human details
Real writers add numbers, names, places, opinions and casual words. Text with none of these reads as generic, which is typical of AI drafts.
Which AI wrote it: ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude?
Copy-pasted AI text often carries leftovers: ChatGPT links with utm_source=chatgpt.com, citation markers like 【4†source】, Perplexity-style [1][2] references, markdown stars and hashes, or chatbot lines such as "Certainly! Here's…" and "I hope this helps". When we find these we show them as evidence. Without leftovers we compare style habits: ChatGPT leans on words like "delve", "tapestry" and em dashes, Gemini on "Here's a breakdown" and "In essence", Claude on "That said" and "worth noting". That comparison is shown as a style match, not proof.
How accurate is it?
Every AI content detector, free or paid, makes mistakes. Formal human writing can look AI-like, and heavily edited AI text can pass as human. Accuracy improves with longer text, so check at least 150–200 words. Never use a detector score alone to accuse a writer or student; look at the highlighted sentences and the evidence.
Does AI content hurt SEO?
Google ranks helpful, original content and does not ban AI-assisted writing. What fails is generic text that repeats what is already online. Use this AI text detector to find the bland parts of a draft, then add first-hand experience, local details and data. That improves rankings and conversions far more than "beating" a detector.
AI content detector questions
Is this AI content detector free?
Yes. It is free with no sign-up and no word limit per day. Your text is checked inside your browser, so it is not uploaded or stored. Only the "Check a URL" option uses our server to read the page.
How accurate is the AI detector?
No AI detector is 100% accurate, including paid ones. This tool looks at many signals together (AI-typical phrases, sentence rhythm, generic vs specific writing, chatbot leftovers) and shows exactly why it decided. Treat the score as a strong signal, not proof, especially for short texts under 150 words.
Can it tell which AI tool wrote the text?
Partly. If the text contains leftovers from a chatbot, such as a ChatGPT link with utm_source=chatgpt.com, 【source】 citation markers, Perplexity-style [1][2] references or "Certainly! Here's…", the tool shows it as evidence. Otherwise it compares the writing style with the habits of ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and SEO writing tools and shows how closely it matches. Style match is a guess, not proof.
Does it work for Hindi or Hinglish content?
The phrase and rhythm checks are tuned for English. Hinglish works reasonably well; pure Hindi (Devanagari) text gets a limited check and the tool tells you so.
Does Google penalise AI-generated content?
Google says it rewards helpful, original content however it is produced, and acts against content made mainly to manipulate rankings. Generic, unedited AI text usually performs poorly because it adds nothing new. Adding real experience, data and examples matters more than avoiding AI.
How do I make AI-written content sound human?
Remove stock phrases like "delve", "in today's fast-paced world" and "it's important to note", mix short and long sentences, add your own numbers, names, places and opinions, and write the way you would explain it to a customer. The phrase cleaner fixes the easy parts automatically.
Why does my human-written text show some AI score?
Formal writing, templates and SEO copy often use the same phrases AI models learned from. Check the highlighted sentences: if they are generic, rewriting them with specifics improves both the score and the content.
Is my text stored or shared?
No. Pasted text is analysed in your browser and never sent to our server.
